Terms of use
Article 1 — Purpose
These terms govern the use of the GoDELF service, a platform for managing registrations for the DELF and DALF exams, operated by Centre Zenith, an exam centre accredited by France Éducation International.
Article 2 — Acceptance
Registering on godelf.com implies unreserved acceptance of these terms as well as of the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
Article 3 — Registering for an exam
Registering for a DELF or DALF exam requires:
- The creation of a candidate account with a valid e-mail address.
- The complete entry of civil-status information (surname, first name, date and place of birth, nationality).
- The upload of a valid identity document (front/back or passport). It is kept until the diploma is handed over, or at most two years after the session (see article 7).
- Payment of the registration fee at the rate in force at the time of registration.
Any incorrect information may result in refusal of access to the exam without refund.
Article 4 — Payment
Payment is made online via Stripe (bank card) or offline (bank transfer, coverage by a partner organisation). Registration is only confirmed once payment has actually been received, unless there is an explicit agreement with a partner organisation.
Article 5 — Cancellation, refund
Cancellation is possible up to 72 hours before the collective exam: the amount paid is refunded, less 3 € in transaction fees.
No refund is made:
- in the event of unjustified absence on the day of the exam;
- in the event of failing the exam;
- in the event of cancellation less than 72 hours before the date of the collective test.
Absence on health grounds: on presentation of a medical certificate sent within 7 days of the scheduled date of the examination, the registration is postponed to the next available session. The medical certificate gives entitlement to that postponement, not to a refund.
Cancellation requests must be sent to examen@godelf.com at the latest 72 hours before the collective test, stating the last four digits of the bank card used for the payment. The refund is made within 14 days of the request being received.
Article 6 — Right of withdrawal
As the registration is concluded at a distance, a candidate acting for non-professional purposes has fourteen days from registration to withdraw, without giving any reason and without penalty (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). This right prevails over the cancellation terms of article 5.
To exercise it, write to examen@godelf.com before the deadline, in an unambiguous statement or using the form below. Sending before the end of the fourteenth day is enough: the date of sending is what counts.
The centre then refunds all sums paid, transaction fees included, within fourteen days of being informed of the decision, using the means of payment chosen at registration.
Where the examination falls before the end of that period, the candidate may expressly ask for the service to be performed before the deadline. The right is kept until the day of the examination; once it has been sat, the service is fully performed and the right of withdrawal ends (article L221-25).

Article 7 — Conduct on the day of the exam
The candidate undertakes to comply with the internal rules of the exam centre and the instructions of the examiners. Any attempt at fraud is reported to France Éducation International and may lead to sanctions, in accordance with the rules of France Éducation International.
Article 8 — Results and diplomas
Results are published within 4 to 6 weeks after the end of the collective session. The official diploma is issued by France Éducation International and given to the candidate after an additional period of several weeks once the pass certificate is available. The identity document uploaded at registration is kept until the diploma is collected, when it is asked for, then destroyed during the night after the diploma is handed over or posted; at the latest two years after the session if the diploma is never collected.
Article 9 — Liability
Centre Zenith implements the means necessary for the proper functioning of the service but cannot be held liable in the event of temporary unavailability, loss of data due to an external event (hosting provider failure, the candidate's Internet outage), or fraudulent use of an account due to a failure to secure it by the candidate themselves (shared password, compromised device).
Article 10 — Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Centre Zenith's registered office, save for any mandatory public-policy provision to the contrary.
