🎓 What is the DELF A2?

The DELF A2 (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française – A2 level) corresponds to the second level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
It is an elementary level: at this stage, you can understand and communicate in routine everyday situations — talk about your habits, express your needs, carry out simple tasks, or manage short and concrete interactions.

→ reading simple but slightly longer texts: messages, information notes, ads, instructions.

Writing ( /25 )
→ writing structured messages: personal email, short story, request for information.

Speaking ( /25 )
→ presenting yourself, having a dialogue, asking for something, describing an event, giving a simple opinion.

✅ Passing the DELF A2

To pass the exam, you must obtain:

  • at least 50 out of 100 points,

  • and no less than 5/25 in each individual section.
